If the 3D item library contains only the left (or right) version of an asymmetrical item, it can easily be mirrored to suit your needs. This feature is especially useful when it comes to vanities, washbasins, and shower boxes.
Once positioned in the layout, right click on the item and select “Mirror” from the pop-up menu.
The application will then ask you to specify the mirror line (line of symmetry). In the following image, the mirror line is represented by the vertical red line.

The mirror line tells the program how the item must be mirrored. By selecting the two points that will define the mirror line, you will create a new item, reflecting the original one across the newly defined line.
To set the first point of your line, simply click the desired point on the layout. Then, define the second point with another click. This will determine the mirroring direction and position. In most cases, with items aligned either vertically or horizontally, using the “O” key will help keep the line perfectly straight.
For a better understanding, let’s look at the following example with an oblique mirror line.

The green lines represent the perpendiculars to the mirror line. They determine both the orientation and the position of the new item, mirroring the original item over the line of symmetry.
